Color!
The site that I found that was monochromatic was http://www.yankees.com
It basically sticks to the dark Yankee blue.
Pretty much any team website is monochromatic because most teams have one signature color.

The Yankees lost, and are now out of the Playoffs. No more Yankees till April. This makes me sad.

Yesterday was the last day of the regular MLB season. This saddens me. However, it does mean the beginning of the Postseason, and that is muy exciting.
