It’s like the bottom of the ninth and you’re never gonna win…
Holy Shiat.
I can NOT believe I missed that game.
Only the seventh one-game playoff in baseball history, and I had to go to lame-o class.
But, I watched it on Gameday on ESPN.com during class.
Anyways the game was awesome, it was between the Padres and the Rockies, do or die, whoever wins goes to the Playoffs, loser goes home for the winter.
The Rockies jumped on Jake Peavy early, getting 3 runs across.
But in the bottom of the 3rd, the Padres went ahead 4-3 with a grand slam, then one more run in the 3rd made it 5-3.
In the 5th the Rockies tied it at 5, and went ahead 6-5 in the 6th.
In the top of the 8th, the Padres tied, again, and the game went to extras.
The score stayed 6-6 until the top of the 13th when the Padres went ahead on a 2-run homer.
They then brought in future Hall of Famer and one of the best closers in baseball history, Trevor Hoffman to close out the game.
Two doubles, a triple, and a sac-fly later, the Rockies had rallied, and they won the game!!!!!
WHOO HOO!!!
I’m happy they won, but I am not happy I didn’t get to see it. Oooooh, well.
But now that all the Playoff matches are set, I will now make my predictions…in bracket form.
If you’re not the brightest and don’t know how to read a bracket, let me break it down for you.
The first round of the playoffs are 5 game series.
The Cubs will beat the Diamondback.
The Rockies will beat the Phillies.
The Red Sox will beat the Angels.
The Yanks will beat Cleveland.
In the second round, they play 7 game series.
The Cubs will beat the Rockies.
The Yankees will beat the Sox.
It will be a Cubs – Yankees World Series.
I’m not gonna say who I think is gonna win, cuz I don’t wanna jinx it, aight?

I’m not a big baseball fan and even *I* felt sorry for you after hearing how great that game was. Once in a lifetime they say…
