Copyright

I think the copyright laws are kind of stupid, especially when it comes to Youtube. So many videos have been taken off of Youtube for copyright infringement. For instance, if I were to put clips of Conan O’Brien up on Youtube, I could get in trouble for it…but NBC has there own Youtube page and they put the same clip up, it’s perfectly okay. That doesn’t really make sense because it’s not like either of us are making any money off of it.
Many TV channels now play episodes of their shows online, so it doesn’t really make sense that you can get in trouble for putting a little clip on Youtube.
This is why the writers are on strike, they think they deserve the money from DVD sales and the internet, I have to say I definitely agree with them, but I wish they would hurry up and get the strike over with, because I am definitely missing new Late Night with Conan O’Brien, and new episodes of The Office.
